In general: the position of ID Medicine in the medical landscape is still weak, to weak to address important health needs

12. Looking forward: NVAVG -- Writing a comprehensive textbook ID Medicine -- Define the core business of the ID Physician: what can the patient (and the insurance company) expect at a given reason for encounter
