The nutrition label tells us many things we should know about the food we are eating… For example Calories Fat Salts Sugars Fiber Protein Vitamins & Minerals

Good old Mac & Cheese The serving size tells you how much was measured for the values given on the label.

Calories = heat Your body needs enough calories from food to keep up basic functions and give you energy to be active. Too many calories leads to weight gain.

Limit the fats Fat is necessary for good health Too much fat clogs your arteries and can lead to weight problems. Too much sodium can lead to high blood pressure.

Fiber keeps things moving through your digestive system. Protein, vitamins and minerals are necessary for good health.
