5 Pulmonary circulation  Describe the function of the right side of the heart.  Describe what happens to the blood in the left side of the heart.

6 Arteries  Arteries carry blood rich in to the rest of the.  The color of the blood in the arteries is because it is full of.  The tiny arteries furthest from the heart joins up with.

7 Capillaries  What is the function of capillaries?  How does oxygen travel to the tissues from the capillaries?  Why does the blood turn dark red at the end of the capillaries?

8 Heart Activity  Go back to main menu and click on Heart Activity to review the different parts of the heart.
