6. Wednesday’s Answers 1.) The Adams-Onis Treaty between Spain and the US ended all boundary disputes. Spain gave US, East Florida. US gave Spain Texas, and paid all US citizens claims. 2.) The Monroe Doctrine stated: US would stay out of European affairs. Europe would stay out of the Western Hemisphere. The US would oppose any European colonization in the Americas.
