Tasks for Today We will break up into small groups and look at a series of advertisements from the 1920s. With your group, discuss: –What is “mass advertising”/ “mass consumption”? –What is “mass culture”? –What role do corporations play in the emergence of “mass consumption” and “mass culture”?
