1 REPORT FOR THE FIRST YEAR WORK ON THE MULTILATERAL COMENIUS PROJECT 2012 – 2014 “UNITED EUROPE – A PERFECT HOME TO LIVE IN” prepared by Professional High School of Mechanical Techniques – Sliven, Bulgaria Project partners are schools from Romania, Sweden, Latvia and Poland

2 Activities - September, 2012 On 21.09.2012 during the Pedagogical Council The Headmistress of The Professional High School of Mechanical Techniques Mrs. Tatiana Mincheva with great joy presented a project within the Comenius program. In summary she exposed the global goal and specific purposes, main activities and expected results of the two-years project work. We discussed the project activities to be included in the plans for the activities of subject departments in the school and their integration into the curricula of general and professional education. There was formed a team of teachers who would work on the project.

3 Activities - September, 2012  Designed a board for the beginning of the project. Presented the theme, the purposes we set, main activities and expected results. Launched the Comenius Corner.  We have announced a selection for project participants satisfying fixed criteria.

4 Activities – October, 2012 Mobility in Hunedoara, Romania 17.10.2012 – 22.10.2012

5 Activities - October, 2012  We identified the students who would participate in the Comenius project entitled "United Europe – a perfect home to live in.“ "United Europe – a perfect home to live in.“  We presented the countries participating in the project purposes, expected results and main activities of the project.

6 Activities - October, 2012  We collected information about the partners - Romania, Poland, Sweden and Latvia.  We prepared posters and presentations about them.

11 Our choice for logo was : After Consulting, Bulgarian students decided: POLAND - 4 points (the one with the arms and hands) ROMANIA - 3 points LATVIA - 2 points SWEDEN - 1 point Polish logo

12  We made a greeting - presentation for Christmas and New Year and sent it by e-mail to all partners. Activities - December, 2012  We prepared a film about Bulgarian customs and traditions for Christmas and put it on Facebook

25  We prepared presentation for the spring holidays and customs in Bulgaria.  We made a successful attempt to recreate and show Bulgarian traditions in reality. Mobility in Bulgaria - April, 2013

26 We have made a film for Bulgaria and a presentation for the town and the high- school. We have made a film for Burgas and Nesebar. We show them to our guests during the mobility. Mobility in Bulgaria - April, 2013

30  On a working meeting all the partners presented educational systems in their countries. A discussion was held. Mobility in Bulgaria – April, 2013

31  We made puzzles with national coat of arms of each country. Students had to rank puzzles with the arms of their partners and put the appropriate flag.

32  We prepared a brochure for the mobility of our partners in Bulgaria from 17 to 23.04.2013 that we circulated on the Panorama of the Schools, which was held on 29.04 and 30.04.2013 in Sliven Activities - April, 2013

33 Activities - May, 2013  We published information for the mobility held in Bulgaria http://new.sliven.net/sys/news/index.php?id=108321

34  We translated 30 words into Bulgarian for the Electronic Dictionary Activities - May, 2013

35  We prepared a film with the selected words shown in English and pronounced in Bulgarian Activities - May, 2013

36  We prepared promotional materials for dissemination of the project. Activities - May, 2013
