What is the British weather like? The climate is generally mild and temperate. The temperature is subject of two extremes: it is rarely above 32˚C or below 10 ˚C. March and June are the driest months. September and January are the wettest. The mountainous areas have more rainfall. The influence of the Atlantic ocean.

Spring Spring is the period from March to May. A calm, cool and dry season, particularly because the Atlantic has lost much of its heat throughout the autumn and winter. The days get longer, temperatures can rise relatively high.

Summer lasts from June to August is the hottest season can be a dry season thunderstorms occur in southern, eastern, and central England and are less frequent and severe in the north and west.
