9 Start with a Collection of Assets
We are using the word Asset, but we are actually talking about an element or entity, an item we intend to use in some was as part of our analysis. This could be a process unit like a tank, reactor or heat exchanger, but it could also be a part of a physical unit such as a tray in a distillation column. In AF, it is actually possible to model at both levels at the same time. Remember the end game here; we are building assets to organize the information we are interested in so that we can drive meaningful analysis and presentation of that data! 10 Associate Data with Assets
These assets can be made into a template for reuse.
