2 Microgravity is fun. Cosmonauts and astronauts all agree that living in microgravity is fun. Y You can fly, float and flip I It’s like moving in a swimming pool B But your muscles become softer and your bones become thinner. C Cosmonauts and astronauts must do a lot of exercising!

3 Days and nights. Living on the ISS also means you don’t experience normal days and nights. Space station goes around the Earth making a full orbit once every 90 minutes T The cosmonauts and astronauts on board see 16 sunrise Space station residents stick to the same kind of schedule they’d have on the planet Earth.

4 Sleeping under the stars. In microgravity there’s no need for a bed. At night I I I ISS’s residents strap themselves into sleeping bags that hang from the walls. Sleeping in space is difficult because you don’t know what to do with your floating neck b but when you get used to it, it becomes very comfortable and relaxing.

5 Space food. S Spaceships bring meals to the station only once a month. pace food needs to stay fresh for a long time. T Today’s ISS is equipped with water, microgravity ovens, and refrigerators W When it’s time for a meal, the ISS residents fly to the Zvezda module, where there is a fold-down table. To keep their meals from floating away, they often use a special kind of scotch. B But if someone spills their food or drink it will float off
