Chamber Ambassador Team Mission To support and develop the Chamber through enlisting new members, retaining existing members and promoting the Chamber in the TriCities community.

Chamber Ambassador Team Vision To position the Chamber as the premium business organization in the Tricities (and beyond) through member support, communication and community involvement.

WHAT DOES AN AMBASSADOR DO? ATTENDS WELCOMES INVITES CALLS EDUCATES INFORMS PROMOTES RECRUITS CELEBRATES VISITS POSTS

WHAT IS THE TIME AND EFFORT COMMITMENT? 5-10 phone calls per month (2 hours) 1-3 visits per month (3 hours) KICKSTART event each month (1 ½ hours) Community events (variable –1 hours) Other Chamber events (variable –3 hours) Social Media posts (minimum 1 per week – ½ hour) Updating Google Docs (variable ½ hour) Additional Ambassador volunteer assignments (variable – 1 hour) Monthly Ambassador meeting (1 ½ hours) 15 HOURS PER MONTH

CHIEF AMBASSADOR DUTIES Manage communication between Chamber staff and Ambassador team Manage points Manage meeting minutes Mentor new Ambassadors Assign phone calls Monitor and assign community events and member celebrations Manage Ambassador volunteer assignments at Chamber events Actively shape Ambassador Team into the most effective recruitment, engagement and retention team
