Conclusions Dublin Bay is internationally important for for wintering waterfowl, both because of overall numbers, and numbers of five species: Brent geese Knot Black-tailed godwit Bar-tailed godwit Redshank

Concluding Remarks Terrestrial ecology is not yet complete. Nature Park to be surveyed next summer (2004). All baseline data to be compiled into one report to be made available for the developer. No comments can be made on the impact on the environment of a thermal treatment plant at this stage (plant detail unknown, developer not yet selected). Extensive baseline monitoring is key to a comprehensive EIS.
