3 WHO WE ARE Our offshore clients include: Talisman Marathon
Sodexo Remote Sites is a Facilities Management company one of the biggest in the UK. We specialise in the provision of integrated facilities management services for the oil and gas and construction industries both for onshore and offshore with approximately 800+ offshore staff ranging from Stewards to Chef Managers, and approx 210 onshore employees which include receptionist’s, housekeeping, catering and facilities management. 4 Check-in Procedure Ad-hoc personnel will be contacted by a member of the Logistics Team and allocated on a trip by trip basis (unless notified otherwise). Flight check-in times are available by contacting Reception 24 hours before the day of your departure offshore. If you are unable to travel, for whatever reason (i.e. sickness), you should contact a member of the Logistics Team as soon as you can to let them know. If you have contracted, or suspect that you may have contracted any form of food related illness whilst on leave, you should notify the office immediately. If you need to notify us that you will not be travelling over a weekend (or you need to contact us urgently out with normal office hours), you should contact the Duty Manager. The number is in the handout that you will receive at the end of your induction and is also available on the Office answer-phone. WATCH DVD page 4

5 Basic info on your Employment with the Company
Contract of Employment You will be issued a Contract within eight weeks of your start date from your employers in the Netherlands Office, if you are recruited to the Ad-hoc pool. You will also receive an Ad-hoc “passport” as part of your induction pack which you must take with you every time you travel offshore Payroll Ad-hoc personnel are paid four weekly and a list of pay periods is in your induction pack Statutory Training and Medical Examination If your current certificates are nearing their expiry date, you should notify a member of the SRSSL logistics Team. It is your responsibility to ensure your certificates are kept up to date. page 5

Company Uniform You will be issued with a Company Uniform. It is your responsibility to look after it and keep it in good order. New safety shoes – recommended preparation for first use If you require additional uniform you should notify the Unit Manager and it will be ordered for you. If you do not return to that particular unit, it can be arranged for you to collect it either from the office or directly from our suppliers premises. Change of Details If you change your address or next of kin (N.O.K), please notify the Logistics team in writing or send a completed ‘Change of Personal Details’ form to the team. Vantage – employees must check the details held for them on Vantage each time they check in and amend anything accordingly. We do not have access to change these details in the office. If you change your bank details you should complete and return a ‘Bank Mandate’ form to the payroll department. These forms are available from the office or from your offshore Manager. Please note we cannot accept these types of changes over the phone. page 6

COTA employees will be paid travel allowances as detailed below, dependent on the distance between the airport and their current home address Allowances marked (*) comprise a payment in respect of overnight accommodation, necessary where travel to a departure point may be required the day before the shift change. page 7

Topical and practical articles written by medical professionals can also be retrieved. As with all other EAP services the website is free, totally confidential and backed up by a 24/7 support help line.
