2. 引导定语从句的关联词， 可根据在从句中所缺的成分来决定用哪个。 缺主语、宾语、表语 时，用： which ， that （先行词是物时） that ， who,whom （先行词是人时） 缺定语 时： whose = of which (the…) ( 指物时） whose = of whom (the…) （指人时） 缺状语 时： when （时间） where （地点） why （原因） 另 : 缺主语、宾语、表语 时, 有时用： as ( 先行词被 the same / such /as… /so… 修饰时； 或引导非限定性定语从句，表示 “ 正如 … 所看见 / 听到 / 预料到的 ”)

5. 只用 that 不用 which 的情况： 1) 当先行词是不定代词时, 如 : all, little, much, none, one, everyone, something, anything, everything, nothing 等。如： This is all (that) he told me. 2) 当先行词被 the only, the very, the same, little, few, no, 等修饰 时。如： This is the very book (that) I’m looking for. 3) 当先行词被序数词或形容词最高级修饰时。 The book is the first / the best book (that) I’ve read. 4) 在疑问词 who 、 which 、 what 开头的句子中。 ( 为避免重复 ) Which is the book (that) you like best?
