The Dress Code… can be found in the Polytech Student Handbook goal is to create an environment conducive to learning and appropriate for an educational setting places responsibility on students to dress in a manner which does not disrupt the educational process reflects concern for the health, safety, and professional criteria of each technical area as determined by the teacher gives teachers/administrators authority to take action if clothing is deemed inappropriate

Tops that extend from the neckline to the shoulder Shorts, skirts and dresses should be as long as your longest finger when your hands are at your side.

Shorts and skirts must be as long as your middle finger when your hands are by your side. Shirts with spaghetti straps, no straps, low necklines, or see-through material are not acceptable. Shirts must overlap bottoms to cover the entire torso area Too short No See-through

Pants are covering the hips and shirts fully cover the torso area

No under-shirts/A-shirts Underwear/pants should not be visible. Bottoms should be worn above the hips

No head coverings (bandanas, wave caps, skull caps, baseball caps or ear muffs) permitted. Pajamas/slippers are unacceptable. Tights/yoga pants must be covered with a top (meeting longest finger rule). No Sunglasses permitted inside the building.

No clothing containing obscene, profane, or objectionable phrases, pictures, or references. Clothing must not be torn/cut above the area where the longest finger falls on the thigh
