2 Sir Issac Newton  History: Issac was an English physicist, mathatican, astronomer, natural philosopher, alchemist, and theologican.  Born in 4 th of January 1643 – 31 March 1727.  He published Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica in 1687.  Newton described universal gravitation and the three laws of motion which dominated the scientific view of the physical universe.  Newton enunciated the conservation principles of momentum and angular momentum.  Newton was also highly religious, though an unorthodox Christian.

4 THE THREE LAWS…  I: Every object is in a constant state and if a force is acted upon it to change its state it happens instantly. Everything else is acted on afterwards.  II: Pushing something with more inertia will require more inertia to push it then it’s original inertia.  III: For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
