Performance Based Acceptance I can never measure up. I can’t let others appear to measure up. Performance based acceptance assumes a standard of measure. Performance based religion is the ultimate. You’d better measure up or God will be displeased! Judaism: the best performance based religion the world has ever seen! Amped up by Pharisees in Jesus’ day.

But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons. Galatians 4:4

First Born Sons with Inheritance Rights You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. Galatians 3:26-29

‘the full rights of sons.’ So also, when we were children, we were in slavery under the basic principles of the world. But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons. Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba, Father." So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir. Galatians 4:3-7

What’s it like to be free? To have the spirit of Sonship? Free from the tyranny self-accusation. Free from the slavery of having to accuse others. Free to live the law as an expression of my inner nature, empowered by the Spirit of His Son!

Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” Luke 2:13-14
