Why Get Active??? Inactivity is a Problem? 65% of Americans are now overweight or obese Obesity is increasing in every age, ethnicity, and in both genders. Nearly half of American youth ages 12- 21 are not vigorously active on a regular basis. 14% of young people report no recent physical activity.

It is now recommended that young people participate in at least 60 minutes of moderate intensity physical activity most days of the week – preferably every day!!
