2. Requirements Macintosh computer running OS X Windows version of PowerPoint not work Microsoft PowerPoint (2000 or later) QuickTime Pro ($30) Separate microphone recommended Connection to internet You Tube account (free)

3. Procedure Create and Save PowerPoint presentation Assume this process is understood Go to Slide Show Menu and select Record Narration Select Sound Input device and Link narrations so sound files saved in folder Record narration Save narrated slide show Go to File menu and select “Make Movie”

4. Procedure (cont’d) Movie Options Make selections as shown to the right of screen Click OK when finished Movie is saved in a PowerPoint format

6. Procedure (cont’d) Must have copy of QuickTime Pro Open PowerPoint file with narration in QT Click on File menu and Export link Create settings and save Now ready to upload to You Tube Must have You Tube account (free) Go to http://youtube.com

7. Procedure (cont’d) After account created click on link near top of screen “My Account” and see Click on Upload New Video

8. Procedure (cont’d) You will be asked to assign name to file, brief description, tag(s), and select category Next screen locate.mov file on computer and upload Wait until processed for URL

9. Review Create PowerPoint slides Narrate Save as PowerPoint movie Convert to.mov file Upload to You Tube Share URL with colleagues
