Look at long-term (3-5 years) and short- term goals (1-2 years) Long term goals –Implement science inquiry based innovations in secondary schools –Institutionalize management of science fairs and In- service training programs for teachers in secondary schools –Increase the involvement and participation of stakeholders in science fairs by 20% within 5 years Short term goals –Strengthen the partnership and networks between Ministry of Education and other stakeholders. –Provide professional development for teachers in secondary schools using existing structures ( Secondary Science and Mathematics Teachers’ [SESEMAT]) Program –Strengthen the planning of the existing science fair –Improve scientific review and judging
