Effective Posters Jennifer Elsmore (St. Joseph’s College, Patchogue, NY 11772), Mel Morris (Brookhaven National Laboratory, Upton, NY 11973) Acknowledgements I would like to thank the following people for their guidance and leadership: *Ken White *Mel Morris (Mentor) *Noel Blackburn Abstracts Studies have shown that effective posters stem from cooperative interns following detailed instructions… Introduction The purpose of this research is to motivate our future generations of interns to construct an effective poster. 40” 30” Poster Title & Heading *Correct Content *JPG Pictures * 1” margins Logos & Thank you’s Methods & Materials Using a very detailed (and very creative) PowerPoint presentation, I was able to successfully relay how an effective poster should be created to a group of interns. Results Unfortunately, I will have to wait until next summer to see if this presentation has been effective in instructing interns on how to create a poster. Discussion Since my results are still left to be determined, I will have to conclude with this, I hope that this powerpoint shed some light on how to create an effective poster. References Please put in MLA format.
