My Beliefs About Leadership Just because you are in a leadership position doesn’t necessarily mean you are a leader. Just because you are in a leadership position doesn’t necessarily mean you are a leader. You don’t have to be THE leader to be a leader. You don’t have to be THE leader to be a leader. A leader has an overall vision, sees the big picture, and is the catalyst to move toward that vision.
