Update on the i3 grant The Sunnyside District should receive word by the end of July on our application for a $30 million federal Investing in Innovation Fund (i3) validation grant. Competitive i3 grants are awarded to applicants with a record of improving student achievement and programs that have shown promise.

AIMS scores will be released to the public on July 14, 2010. Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) evaluations will be released by the Arizona Department of Education on July 21. AIMS scores

Sunnyside District Learning Community Partnership Coordinator Brandon Protas has been nominated for the Arizona Daily Star’s 40 Under 40 awards program to recognize individuals under the age of 40 who have made significant contributions in their profession and the community.
