3. FAMILY LIFE In summer they went on a picnic to city parks. And children played in the sand pit. On wash day parents stayed at home.

4. PLAY Poor children danced on the street for money. Rich Victorians played with Marbles. And at Christmas they always played with their presents

5. VICTORIAN FOOD The Victorians ate boiled ham and beef stew with dumplings and fig jam and Victoria sponge cake{ my favourite}

6. QUEEN VICTORIA Queen Victoria was Britans longest ever Queen to live from 1837 to 1901. Victoria's saddest moment was when prince albert died. He died in 1893

7. OBJECT LESSONS Infant children had object lessons. The teacher held up a object or a picture. On our Victorian day Miss put a leaf on the table and we drew it.

8. HOLIDAYS Victorians swam in the sea and tried to catch fish for tea. When they got home they cooked it in a pan and they had a little tiny piece each for tea

9. CLOTHES Men wore smart suits and the women wore big dresses. Some girls tripped over their dresses because they were so long.
