2. What is ELMS? “ELMS is a web-based management system which enables you to make DreamSpark software easily available to your students and faculty. 3. Start Open a browser (since it’s a Microsoft site it probably will work best with Internet Explorer) and navigate to the following address: http://msdn.e-academy.com/lasalle_mcs/ 3

4. Click on Sign In 4

5. If you know your credentials, enter them. Usernames are typically your La Salle email address. 5

6. If you don’t know your credentials click on the “Forgot your password?” link 6

7. Enter your username (usually your La Salle email) and click Submit. Follow the instructions in the resulting email. 7

8. For Visual Studio, click on Developer Tools 8

9. If you want to use what we have in the classroom, then chose Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 9

10. Again, if you want to use what we have in the classroom, then choose Professional 10

11. Click the Add to Cart button 11

12. Click Check Out 12

13. Accept the license agreement 13

14. Click Proceed With Order 14

16. Follow Step 1 (Download Secure Download Manager) 16
