UMR Update Fall 2006 Enrollment is 5,858 4.6% increase over last year 26.6% increase over Fall 2000 46% increase in African-American students since FS2000 136% increase in Hispanic-American students since FS2000 977 First-time Freshmen third largest incoming class in UMR history 23% female (largest number of total female enrollment since 1984) average ACT score is 27.2 (upper 10% of the nation) 600 underrepresented students (UMR record high)
