The Demographics Study GOAL: To undertake a Demographics Study that will represent an important strategic process which will be used to determine services that will be required in the future for:  Population  Education  Employment  Health  Housing  Utilities (water, power, sewage and waste management) PROPOSAL:  Actively seek funding from DoTaRS so that a Demographics Study can be undertaken for the Cocos (Keeling) Islands that will assist in future decision making.

RATIONALE:  An annual forum conducted on island would provide a valuable information resource, excellent publicity and an alternative economic benefit other than just tourism. PROPOSAL:  Draft agenda of program for forum.
