2. What are potions?
Potions are items that can be made to give your character more effects. There are many different types. Here are just a few:
Swiftness
Poison
Slowness
Fire Resistance
Regeneration

3. How to get started
In order to make potions, you need a Brewing Stand. These can be made by taking a Blaze rod and 3 Cobblestone. To get Cobble, You just need to mine stone. To get a blaze rod, you need to access the nether and kill Blazes. They can be found in Nether Fortresses with spawners. The Brewing Stand Can make 3 potions at once.

4. Extra Items Needed
For each potion, you will need specific materials, but for most potions there are a few basic items needed.
Glass Bottles- Hold The Potion
Nether Wart- Creates awkward Potion
Cauldron-olds enough water for three potions
Water Buckets- To refill Cauldron

5. Potion Add-ons
When You have finished making your potions, You can manipulate the effects. By adding Glowstone Dust, you make the potion stronger. If Redstone is placed in, the length of time the effects stay increases. Gunpowder makes the potion throwable.
