T.T. Liu, fBIRN AHM 2006 Short-Term Goals Deploy ASL sequences for East-Coast traveling phantoms study in Early 2006. East Coast Siemens sites are: MGH and Yale East Coast GE sites are: BWH and Duke

T.T. Liu, fBIRN AHM 2006 Progress Report Decision was made to use the UPENN ASL sequence for the Siemens sites. GE sites will use UCSD sequence. Bryon Mueller at Minnesota has been the point person for Siemens ASL sequence and has modified the UPENN sequence for compatibility with UCSD calibration procedures. He has also generated a FSL-compatible analysis pipeline based on SPM and MATLAB scripts from UPENN and UCSD.

T.T. Liu, fBIRN AHM 2006 Upcoming Tasks Finalize slice coverage and protocol. Bryon to visit MGH and Yale Siemens Sites and BWH GE site soon. Verification of FSL analysis routines. Roll out GE sequences to BWH and Duke.

T.T. Liu, fBIRN AHM 2006 Issues Technology transfer. BWH and Duke GE sites may be upgrading to System 14.0 just before the traveling phantom study. Will also need to keep an eye on system upgrades at the Siemens sites.
