Acknowledgement  First of all we deeply acknowledge our gratitude to our guide Mr. Dibyendu Kumar Pal(Guide ) for being kind enough to consider ourselves eligible research fellow and for giving us the great opportunity to work under his guidance.  We are also expressing our glad to all those faculty members who have made capable to develop such project with sharing their valueless knowledge training to make us experience of wander world of Oracle. 3

This project aims at creation of a secure banking system. This will be accessible to all customers who have a valid User Id and Password. This system provides the following facilities: Balance Enquiry Cash Deposit Cash withdraw Funds Transfer to another account in the same bank Request for cheque book/change of address/stop payment of cheques Viewing Monthly and annual statements. Loan facilities Abstract of the project

Further considerations The bank system needs to be flexible, to allow easy integration of new security technology All business transactions need to be centrally logged Business Intelligence functionality to improve security, e.g. data mining, blacklist generation etc. to combat fraud

Vision of Today's Banking Today’s banking platforms need to cope with continuously changing business environments, and a continuous flood of new requirements, while staying sufficiently agile. Banking platform renewal requires thorough preparation based on a business foundation, including a description of what functionality the business side can expect.

Operational characteristics Central security administration central tracking facility for business transactions Including business continuity functions (e.g. backup center) operational and business statistics available in real time Data warehouse functionality to support flexible analysis over extended periods

System design What is Design ? Design is a meaningful engineering representation of something that is to be built. It can be traced to a customer’s requirements and at the same time assessed for quality against a set of predefined criteria for “good” design. In the software engineering context, design focuses on four major areas of concern: Data, Architecture, Interface and Component. continued……

Distinct Modules Developed in Banking System A/C Holder : Balance enquiry Money Transfer Bill Pay Residence phone no. change Mobile no. change Apply for Loan Bank Administrator : Create A/C View A/C Detail Personal Detail Balance Detail Transaction Detail Do Transaction Withdraw Money Deposit Money Transfer Money Update Personal Detail of any A/C Maintain Catalog Table Closing an A/C

As it’s proved that versatility is the key of success so Banking sites now are not only facilitated the root purpose. Till now we have developed several features about this project but still there are certain areas where we can work on and improve the scopes of this project. The scopes are: 1. passbook order, 2. draft issue request, 3. Services of money transfer with other banks, 4. bill payment transaction, 5. Automatic Interest Calculation. The money transfer with other banks is not possible in this project because of unavailability of certain networking devices. The other parts are not possible due to unavailability of enough time The Banking Site we developed it’s in very simple and limited features are available for the users. So to make it versatile we will introduce so many attractive features to get best feedback and response from users of our site. Also as it’s developed with very inexperienced hand so it may contain may disputes and technical faults above our knowledge so we will try to find and solve them in future with care.
