During the early establishment of the 13 colonies, various religious and ethnic group began to settle America. The factors that drove them here can be described as either ‘push’ or ‘pull’ Push: forced people into an unwanted migration NEGATIVE Pull: actions or characteristics that motivate people to migrate to a new area POSITIVE
