Two types of carbs Simple carbohydrates(known as refined sugar) Complex carbohydrates(known as starches) Found in pasta, rice, and bread Gives a lot of energy to the body Carbohydrates

Types of Fats Saturated, Mono unsaturated, and Poly unsaturated All fats have a bit of all types of fat in it but the amount of saturation by hydrogen determines what type they are. Fat is in all foods but mostly in fast food and candy/dessert. You should get 30% of your fat from calories. Fats

Vitamins are found in pills and whole foods The main vitamins are vitamin C,D,E and K Vitamins don’t contain any calories Vitamins

Dietary minerals are inorganic substances Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium, Selenium, Sodium, and Zinc are all dietary minerals. They are found in different types of foods for example calcium is found in milk and other dairy products Dietary Minerals

There are a number of different ways to categorize fibre but all fibre does the same thing The two ways you can categorize fibre is its source or origin and the way it dissolves in water Fibre is found in whole wheat bread, and any whole wheat product Fibre reduces your risk of heart disease FIBRE

Human brains are made up of 95% water Water is found in all beverages and fruits and vegetables There is only one type of water WATER
