Adaptations- changes plants and animals make to help them survive.

Environmental niche- an organism’s specific place in its habitat.
You could say that an organism’s niche describes what it does for a living. What it eats, how it gathers food, and where and when it “works.”

Camouflage- animals use camouflage to hide from other animals.

White tailed deer communicate danger by stomping and snorting.

Migration- moving to different places to find cooler or warmer weather, as well as food.

Hibernation- sleeping through cold winters when it is hard to find food.
