4. Condensed Biography  Pachelbel was born on September 1, 1653, in Nürnberg. He was a gifted organist and played in many cathedrals and served as the organist at the Imperial Church. He taught organ and piano to quite a few people and one person in particular. Pachelbel taught Johann Christoph Bach, the older brother and guardian of Johann Sebastian Bach the famous composer and organist.
