7. Settings: Number participants: 20 (minimum 12) Place: Voksenopplæringa i Tromsø Duration: 22 weeks

8. Target group: Minority speaking immigrants, unemployed with entitled to Norwegian courses and are interested in working within children or health care

9. Course content 50% health care Curriculum: High school, major of health care 1. and 2. year Communication Ethic/attitude, nursing confidentiality Diseases and how to deal with them Hygienic First aid Shifts, rights and duties

11. Course content Kindergarten 50 % Kindergarten theory Curriculum: High school, health- and youth worker, 1. and second year educational work play Children's development Communication First aid Children and typical diseases Nutrition Arts and Crafts

12. Level of Norwegian At least A2, which mean you can communicate, make yourself understood and understand at some degree, what the conversation is about. Test in Norwegian level 2 or 3 at the end of the course. (European framework)

13. Norwegian Language course 50% Norwegian Words and expression from the working place. Rights and duties in the labor market, coordinating with the LO union. CV Job-interwiew (role-play, listening) Grammar and writing

14. Documentation: Diploma covering the course content Internship diploma Passed language test 2 or 3

15. Experiences: More motivated for language learning Increasing the possibilities on the labour marked Theory and practice «hand in hand» Two teachers (different skills) Changed attitude from users (elderly, children and parents)
