The solar system The solar system is all of our planets and stars.
All of our planets are Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Uranus, Saturn, and Neptune.
3
Inner Planets The four inner planets are Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Earth. Earth is where we live. Mercury is the planet closest to the sun. Venus is the brightest planet Mars is farthest from the sun
4
Outer Planets There are 4 outer planets Jupiter is the largest planet
Saturn is the second largest planet Uranus is 4x bigger than earth Neptune is the farthest away from the sun.
5
Earth’s Surface Earth is the third planet from the sun 70% is water
30% is land Jupiter is the largest planet Another name for earth Terro
6
Earths Surface 2 Earths five oceans are Pacific Atlantic Indian Artic
Southern
7
Mars Surface This is called the red planet because the dirt is red.
There are no oceans on Mars The highest mountian is Omplais its 16 miles high The grand canyon on here is called Valles Maloineris
8
Mars Surface 2 Mars’s polar ice cap is made of water ice
There are no contenents on mars Mars’s highest mountain is 3x higher than Earths
9
Curiosity Is a robot It roams Mars It tries to find life
Three things its found is Soil Rocks Gas
10
How the planets are alike
Earth and Mars are alike They both are planets They both are in our solar system There part of the inner planets They don’t have rings They both have moons
11
How they are different Earth has life
Mars has no life or it has not been found Mars has about the same amount of land as Earth because its so much smaller Mars doesn’t have any oceans Earth has 5 oceans
12
Conclusion So we learned about….. Earth Mars Our solar system
