5. Solids Solids have a definite shape and volume. Solids have mass. Solids take up space.

6. Liquids Liquids have a definite volume but no definite shape. Liquids take the shape of their container. Liquids have mass. Liquids take up space.

7. Gasses Gasses have no definite shape or volume. Gasses spread out to fill the entire space given. Gasses have weight. Gasses take up space.
