11 About this Educational Resource: These photos can be used to assess student learning that water can be a solid or a liquid depending on temperature after students have explored changes in state between liquid water and ice. Some of the photos have snow and ice. Others have liquid water. Have students mark whether each scene is above freezing or below freezing. Print the last slide in the series for students to use as a worksheet to record their answers.
