Date: 9/19/11- Section: 1.2 Functions, Domain and Range Obj.: SWBAT find the range of functions. Bell Ringer: Turn IN Find the domain of the following: g(k) = 2k 2 + 9k – 5. Also, use the quadratic formula to find the roots of the quadratic equation. Show your work. Quadratic formula is provided. HW Requests: a. Worksheet 1.2Worksheet Domain b. pg 860 #48 c. pg 78 Work problem 46 algebraically Homework: pg 98 #17-20 Find the range and domain. Draw a sketch of the function including labeling the coordinates of the any x and y intercepts. Also, label the coordinates of three other points. Fundamental Questions: 1.
