Teacher Page In this unit we will be discussing the value of physical fitness testing. We will ask questions about a graph of a students spring and fall test scores. We will be using math to find the difference in a prediction exercise and we will be using a Venn diagram to answer some questions about fitness.

Fitness Testing is important because the results can be used : to monitor fitness level. to see if you are improving. compare your scores to other people of similar age and ability. to identify health problems. to help set goals to improve.

Presidential Fitness Awards Students who equal or go beyond 85 percentile on each of the five tests can earn the Presidential Award.

Hazelwood Fitness Awards Students exceeding or who equal the 50 percentile on all five tests earn the Hazelwood Award.
