Step1 Read aloud Read the given sentences and analyze them. Step2 Correct mistakes Read the given sentences and correct the mistake in each sentence.

Step3 Non-restrictive Attributive clauses Look at textbook P48. Read and analyze the sentences. Can you find differences between the Non-restrictive Attributive Clause and Restrictive Attributive Clause?

Notice: a. There is a comma before the Non- Restrictive Attributive Clause. b. We can use “which” to refer to the whole main clause of the sentence. c. We can use all/some of+whom/which to talk about part or all of something d. We can’t use “that” in this kind of sentences. f. We can’t miss the relative words, either.

Step 4 Practice 1.Discuss Part A on Page 48 Read aloud the answers : ⑴ ※ Amy, who is an actress, is Zhou Ling’s friends. ※ Amy, who is Zhou Ling’s friends, is an actress ⑵ ※ The doctors at the hospital, where Amy spend about two months, tried their best to save Amy. ※ The doctors at the hospital tried their best to save Amy, who spend about two months. ⑶ Amy eats lots of fruit and vegetables, all of which are good for her health.
