Grading Policy Classwork and Homework (Including RR Log Check) will Count One Time in the Grade Book Quizzes will Count Two Times in the Grade Book Tests, Projects, and Major Essays will Count Three Times in the Grade Book Reading Renaissance will Count 3 times of Each Quarter Grade Semester Exams will Counts as 20% of Each Semester Grade

Reading Renaissance Reading Renaissance will Count 3 times of Each Quarter Grade Students are to Read and Pass (70% or higher) 3 Fiction and 3 Nonfiction Books for a Total of 6 Books Each Quarter Students May Read Two 0.5 Point Books of the Same Genre to Equal One Book Quarter Grade is as Follows: 1 Book = 17% 2 Books = 35% 3 Books = 50% 4 Books = 67% 5 Books = 83% 6 Books = 100%

ELA Schedule Tuesday is Library Day Every Tuesday, the class will go to the library for approximately 20 minutes to check out new books, renew old books, take RR tests. Friday is Reading Renaissance Day Students need to bring their RR logs to class for I will be checking their logs and giving them a grade. Students need to bring their RR books to class for they will be given time to read in class that. Really, students need to bring their books to class every day!!!
