CHARACTER SHIFT CHART: BEATRICE TO TRIS On the left this chart, write adjectives of the early traits of Beatrice. Focus on chapters 1-6. Include quote(s) with page numbers that support you characterization. You need at least three different traits. On the right side of this chart, write adjectives of the later traits of Tris. Focus on chapter 7 through our present place in the novel (or what you know). Include quote(s) with page numbers that support you characterization. You need at least three different traits. In the middle, write what you think cause the shift from Beatrice to Tris. What is the key event? Why do you think this caused the shift?
