History of Computers Mackenzie R. Adams by
2
When it was developed IIn 1936, the first programmable computer was made by Konrad Zuse. IIt was called the Z1 Computer.
3
Who makes them SSome of the major pc hardware/software producers are: MMicrosoft, Dell, IBM, Intel, and Apple.
4
Advancements Back when they were first invented, computers took up a whole room. But now 70 years later there are computers half the size of shoeboxes. Take the MacMini for example, its measurements are: 2 inches in height, 6.5 inches in width, 6.5 inches In depth, and only weighs 2.9 pounds!!!
5
Types There are many different types of computers, mostly seen are desktop and laptop computers. And Apple just keeps pushing the limits making their computers smaller and smarter. One of their limit pushing pc ’ s is the MacBook Air, it ’ s only 1.94 cm thick.
6
Uses Computers nowadays have a lot of different uses, like at the office or at home, actually computers are manufactured to fit a few purposes at a time so it works better in one than the other.
7
In the future … … technology will be so advanced that people will be able to carry a fully functional, high speed computer right in their pocket. Or maybe there will be a micro chip implanted in our skull. The computer will probably have a touch screen; it will be a handheld mini computer.
8
Conclusion Computers just keep getting smaller and smarter, but as they get smaller they will also become more expensive. And as history shows the size has decreased a very great amount in just 70 years, and they are able to do a lot more stuff than they used to do.
