8. PBS Show Continued Reading Rocks! Is a show that uses hip-hop music and goes through the path many children take when they are first struggling to read. Empowering Parents is reading rockets show of advice for parents who have children who are struggling with learning how to read.

PBS Show Cont’d Becoming Bilingual is the program where different bilingual schools are shown so that parents, teachers, and students can see the importance of learning another language as well as how difficult it is for ELL students. A Tale of Two Schools is a program that shows how some schools and students are having trouble with reading and what it would take to turn the schools around.

Reading Rockets has won many awards including 2006 Parent’s Choice Silver Award for their help in providing information to everyone about learning how to read and teaching children how to read. They hope to continue this trend by making more programs to broadcast online and on PBS as well as offer more articles of advice and products.
