1. ATTENDANCE CONFIRMATION Adding the assignment to your Canvas Course

2.  Federal Student Aid requires that before SLCC may disburse aid to a student, we must be able to confirm that that student began attendance in each course in which they are enrolled. Federal Student Aid  To meet this requirement, effective Summer 2015 SLCC requires all students to complete an attendance confirmation assignment  By creating this assignment in each course and section you teach, you provide the opportunity for students receiving FSA to demonstrate they have begun attending school  At certain times throughout the semester the Financial Aid Office will run a process that will let us know who completed the assignment and who did not. Those who did not will not receive their aid.
