Hi, 11 th grade! You need: Pencil/pen Journal Journal (2/25/15): A Dutch non-profit organization, Mars One, aims to send a crew to Mars in 2022 to establish the first human colony. There’s a twist: if you are selected to attend this trip, you will never return to Earth. This hasn’t stopped 78,000 people from applying to become one of the first immigrants on Mars (they are expecting 500,000 applications by the August 31 st deadline). (*resilient, adaptable, curious, creative, resourceful) Would you apply to move to Mars? Why or why not?

HOMEWORK: – Turn in any missing work (One Pagers, journal explodes, questions, etc.) When you leave you will have: -utilized reading and writing skills necessary to succeed in 11 th grade.
