3. Habitat Where dolphins live depends on their species
Dolphins migrate depending on where their food is
They also live in harbors, bays, lagoons, gulfs, and tributaries

4. Adaptations
Three adaptations are swimming ability, group hunting, and echolocation
A dolphins long nose can help them kill sharks
They need oxygen to help them breath under water

5. Food/Prey Dolphins are omnivores
Small dolphins eat krill, shrimp, sea plants, squid, and small fish
Bigger dolphins eat other mammal such as sea lions and sea turtles

6. Predators A killer whale are enemies of dolphins
Some dolphins can kill sharks
Larger sharks can eat dolphins

7. Life Span Dolphins can live up to 50 years in wild life
But they live only 17 years if they don’t live in wild life
A bottle nose dolphin can live up to 40 or 50 years

8. Appearance
A dolphin has a smooth rubbery body and a long bottle like nose. It has a tail which is webbed at the bottom.
All dolphins have dorsal fins
Dolphins have a single blowhole
