1. Being an Expert on Chinese Culture Project :

2. Goal: You will be an “expert” on a chosen topic of Chinese culture. on a chosen topic of Chinese culture. Get enough information for the poster.

3.  Steps : 1 、 Choose one topic on Chinese culture you are interested in. 2 、 We will be in the computer lab searching your topics for 3 days. 3 、 After you get enough information, make a PowerPoint presentation.

4. Requirements for the PPT. 1 、 Students need to build at least 10 slides. 2 、 Students need to find one or two pictures for each slide. 3 、 Narrative text should be under each picture. 4 、 Make the presentation as pretty as possible.

5. Step One : Think What do you like about China? What are you interested in about Chinese culture ？ Search your topic online

6. Here are some examples : Sports Martial arts History Geography Animals Panda Food Architecture Science Weapon Paper cutting Great Wall Fashion Shoes Forbidden City Kungfu ……

7. Step Two: Make your PPT ， save it in your share drive or flash drive. We will present in our class. Make your poster based on the information you get and your PPT.

8. Grading:  20 points for the quality of presentation  30 points for the future poster

9. Personal advices: 3-D posters might catch more eyes than regular ones
