3 Slide 1: Title Page  Include title of paper, name, date, and one photo.  Title of paper follows this format: ‘The effect of ______ on today’s teens’

4 Slides 2-4: Introduction  3 slides, 8-10 sentences total  Hook  Include a description of the issue/problem facing today’s teens and summarize the main points of your paper.  Include a thesis – the main point of your paper.  Example: For teenagers in 2015, the excessive use of social media can lead to ______; in order to combat this issue, teens can ____.  Your paper will explain a problem facing teens today in the first two paragraphs, and then offer possible solutions in the third body paragraph.

5 Slides 5-8: 1 st Body Paragraph  4 slides, 8-10 sentences  Include one or more negative effects of a problem faced by teens today.  Include photos, charts, etc.

6 Slides 9-12: 2 nd Body Paragraph  4 slides, 8-10 sentences  Include one or more negative effects of a problem faced by teens today.  Include photos, charts, etc.

7 Slides 13-16: 3 rd Body Paragraph  4 slides, 10-12 sentences  Include possible, research-supported solutions to the problem faced by teens.  Include photos, charts, etc.

8 Slides 17-19: Conclusion  3 slides, 6-8 sentences  Restate your main points and offer a general statement at the end.  Example: Though the issue of _____ can be detrimental to teen behavior, there is hope when ____.
