Service-learning is a type of Experiential Education that combines and pursues both Academic Achievement and community service in a seamless weave, requiring the use of effective Reflection exercises. The goal of service-learning, through linking academics to the community, is to develop the skills, sensitivities, and commitments necessary or effective Citizenship in a democracy. SERVICE LEARNING

My definition of service learning is… Replacing learning in the classroom with hands-on learning in the community. With this type of learning I think you learn more lessons and skills then anything but it all amounts to knowledge. SERVICE LEARNING

During my service learning project I… Went to a golf course. Drove around a beverage cart. Served golfers drinks. Picked up balls that were lost in the bushes. Helped golfers with anything they needed. WHAT I DID IN MY SERVICE LEARNING
